Exploring Spreadsheets: On the Air

About Cambridge ICT Starters:
In Cambridge ICT Starter, the students apply their skills in 10 technology areas:
applied technology, databases, desktop publishing, graphics, multimedia, operating systems, programming, spreadsheets, telecommunications and word processing

The Cambridge ICT Starter acknowledge the competencies valued in ICT around the world. This program has been mapped against national standards, so that the skills assessed, reflect the perfomance standards denabdes in an international context.

About the Curricular Unit:
In the On the Air unit, the students will employes as disc jockeys for radio station FMI. In this their responsability to help increase the station's rating
by using spreadsheets technology. The students are introduced to the basic tools of spreadsheets as they enter data, perfomr mathematical operations, and
create and modify charts using a variety of tools as they learn to select chart types andd add legends. They will use their wordprocessing skills to
complete reports for the station manager.
